Mr. Armando Carranza is an attorney with a strong multijurisdictional civil law practice with experience in complex civil litigation, including but not limited to commercial litigation, mass torts, and products liability actions. Currently, at Sepulvado Maldonado & Couret Mr. Carranza is part of the commercial litigation team handling a wide range of sophisticated complex matters in both state and federal court.
Mr. Carranza graduated from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2014. He graduated in the top ten percent of his class with honors (Magna Cum Laude). During his studies he was a teaching assistant to Professor Luis H. Sánchez Caso, writer and editor for the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law, Law Review were his article was published in Vol. 47 of the Law Review, and completed programs in Prague, Czech Republic related to law and international affairs. Soon after graduating Mr. Carranza was admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and was also admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Previously, before joining Sepulvado Maldonado & Couret, Mr. Carranza practiced law in Florida as a public defender in the 13th Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County, and most recently was part of the attorneys handling pharmaceutical and product liability cases for New York’s based law firm Napoli Shkolnik PLLC were he handled cases in federal and multidistrict court litigation courts.
