
Mr. Carranza graduated from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2014. He graduated in the top ten percent of his class with honors (Magna Cum Laude). During his studies he was a teaching assistant to Professor Luis H. Sánchez Caso, writer and editor for the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law, Law Review were his article was published in Vol. 47 of the Law Review, and completed programs in Prague, Czech Republic related to law and international affair. In 2012 he worked as a law clerk intern at First Bank Puerto Rico, competed in moot court competitions in Florida and in 2013 worked as legal intern at the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico’s Department of State Corporate Registry division. After graduating Mr. Carranza was admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the State of Florida and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Previously, before joining Sepulvado Maldonado & Couret, Mr. Carranza practiced law in Florida were he gained litigation experience as an assistant public defender in the 13th Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County, and most recently was part of the attorneys handling pharmaceutical and product liability cases for New York’s based law firm Napoli Shkolnik PLLC were he handled cases in federal and multidistrict court litigation courts.
