
While in law school, during the months of August until December of 2011, Ms. Deliz-Delgado served as a student law clerk for the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals. From August to December of 2012, Ms. Deliz-Delgado practiced as a student practitioner in the Legal Aid Clinic. Moreover, from January through December 2012, Ms. Deliz-Delgado served as a Teacher Assistant to Professor Juan Correa Luna in the courses Introduction to Law, Legal Research and Writing Analysis, and Civil Procedure. During her last year at law school, Ms. Deliz-Delgado worked as a legal clerk at a private law firm, where she worked matters related to Torts and Mortgage Law. As part of her extracurricular activities, Ms. Deliz-Delgado served as President of E.D.U.C.C.A: Estudiantes de Derecho Unidos Creando Conciencia Ambiental and as Student Counsel Sub Treasurer.
Ms. Deliz-Delgado obtained a Bachelor in Environmental Science, cum laude, from the University of Puerto Rico. Ms. Deliz-Delgado was chosen during the early admission period and became a part of the top 100 new Students of the Environmental Science Faculty. She also holds a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Law. Ms. Deliz-Delgado received the Alumni Association Award for Leadership, Academic Average and Services to the University Community.
Ms. Deliz-Delgado is admitted to practice before the courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. She is also a Notary Public.
