Mr. Sáez Rivera joined Sepulvado, Maldonado & Couret as an Associate in November 2023. Prior to joining the Firm, he worked as an attorney at Andréu & Sagardía Law Firm where he managed complex litigation matters before the courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. His practice was focused on, but not limited to, tort cases, insurance claims and authorizing documents as Notary.
While pursuing his Juris Doctor, Mr. Sáez Rivera served as law clerk for various law firms where he contributed in diverse legal matters and honed skills in civil litigation, legal research, and drafting of a wide array of legal documents.
During law school, Mr. Sáez Rivera was part of the editorial body of the XI Volume of the University of Puerto Rico Business Law Journal. He also served as an active member of the Pro-Bono organization “Enlace con Escuelas Públicas” where he tutored public school students and arranged activities aimed at garnering their interest in pursuing a legal career.
Mr. Sáez Rivera holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, where he majored in Political Science. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2020. He is an authorized Notary and is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.
