Nahiromy F. Hernández-Méndez joined the firm in January 2025, bringing a wealth of experience in corporate and commercial law, torts, litigation, and administrative law. Prior to her tenure with the firm, Ms. Hernández-Mendez served as an Associate Attorney, where she specialized in mass torts, civil litigation, and contract law.
Ms. Hernández-Mendez has delivered comprehensive legal counsel and representation to both private and public sector clients, including Various government agencies, public corporations, instrumentalities, and municipalities. She has managed complex matters involving litigation, contracts, employment law, construction law, and appellate proceedings. Notably, she has served as an official examiner in public nuisance cases and has successfully managed over 50 expropriation cases. Additionally, she has played a pivotal role in drafting and reviewing critical corporate governance documents, including articles of incorporation and bylaws.
Her litigation expertise encompasses conducting rigorous legal research, drafting detailed legal memoranda, and representing clients in diverse judicial proceedings. Beyond these responsibilities, she has actively advocated for housing rights, supporting nonprofit organizations, fishing communities, and individuals facing eviction. Ms. Hernández-Mendez is also a notary public, with proven experience in authenticating legal documents and transactions.
